Born from the same mission that launched the Hollywood Beauty Awards, the Daytime Beauty Awards (DBAs) were created out of necessity—to expand the conversation around beauty and recognize the power behind wellness, science, and innovation.
It all began with industry veteran Michele Elyzabeth. During her personal battle with breast cancer, Michele came to a profound realization: beauty professionals are more than artists—they are healers, confidence restorers, and lifelines. As she navigated her own journey, she experienced firsthand how hair stylists, makeup artists, and caregivers helped her reclaim her sense of self. That insight led her to establish the Hollywood Beauty Awards in 2014.
As the HBAs grew into an internationally recognized celebration of red carpet creators and trendsetters, another need emerged: to honor skincare, doctors, innovative beauty tools and more.
In response, the Daytime Beauty Awards were born.
Unlike traditional beauty awards, the DBAs recognize the science behind beauty, health, and wellness. The show shines a light on professionals across diverse sectors including medicine, aesthetics, skincare, fitness, CBD & cannabis, styling, beauty innovation and more. From honoring AI pioneers and groundbreaking inventors to spotlighting wellness advocates and health trailblazers, the DBAs bridge the gap between glamour and groundbreaking science—redefining how we care for ourselves every day.
Together with Senior Executive Producer Pamela Price and Executive + Music Producer Otis Stokes, the DBAs continue to push boundaries, highlighting the minds and methods that shape how we look, feel, and live.
